Position Summary
  • We needs a Security Manager who can develop sources and maintain liaison with appropriate law enforcement and intelligence officials as well as peers in the public and private sector, Identify and assess emerging threats, weaknesses and opportunities which could impact security operations and manage self-inspections, compliance audits and security inspections of facility by government agencies.
Position Responsibilities
  • Maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures, supervising the security guard force.
  • Develop sources and maintain liaison with appropriate law enforcement and intelligence officials as well as peers in the public and private sector.
  • Assess program security risk to develop appropriate security strategy.
  • Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of special security programs.
  • Identify and assess emerging threats, weaknesses and opportunities which could impact security operations.
  • Manage self-inspections, compliance audits and security inspections of facility by government agencies.
  • Lead, train and evaluate all security staff and organization personnel with security duties
  • Establish Security measures to serve as a benchmark for consistency in enforcing security policies and regulations

30 Day Milestone:
  • Establish Security processes and/or structures
  • Security audit on the security status of all of PHED’s assets
  • Aligning and liaising with Federal and state agencies to ensure that PHED is adequately supported at all times.
  • Establish Monthly meetings held at IBC premises to address concerns, and to update IBC head on the latest security and safety issues.
  • Provide graphical analysis and/or detailed monthly reports clearly stating the overall performance of security services on PHED premises.
  • Review status and recommend technologies that will aid in securing PHED staff and properties
90 Day Milestone:
  • Provide quarterly reviews on prevailing security conditions, audits and make recommendations.
  • Implementation & Maintenance of Key Performance Index (KPI) in key areas of Health/Safety/Environment.
Qualifications ( Experience, Knowledge & Skills)
Qualification:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, Social Sciences or a related discipline.
Experience:
  • Ten (10) years experiences in security management.
  • Prior work experience in Military Intelligence or as a senior functionary in a security outfit is advantage.
Competence:
  • Transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems;
  • Investigative and analytical techniques, procedures and requirements.
