Job Description

• We are seeking a qualified and experienced French Language Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching French language and culture, fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment, and promoting language proficiency among students.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong background in education, a deep understanding of French language instruction, and the ability to create a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop an effective and engaging French language curriculum that aligns with international standards and the school's educational philosophy.
• Utilize a variety of teaching materials, resources, and technology to enhance the learning experience.
• Deliver high-quality French language instruction to students, considering different learning styles and abilities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and language acquisition.
• Implement a variety of formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues to support continuous improvement.
• Integrate cultural aspects of the French-speaking world into lessons to provide a holistic language learning experience.
• Organize and participate in cultural events or activities that promote a deeper understanding and appreciation of the French language and culture.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and methodologies in language education.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.
• Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Attend parent-teacher conferences and school meetings to discuss student progress and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, French, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Teaching certification/license.
• Proven experience teaching French language at the secondary level.
• Familiarity with international or bilingual education systems.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 / month.
