Distribution Centre Supervisor at Speedaf Express

Currently, we are building a local and cross border service network to support air, sea and road transportation with the aim to be the leading diversified integrated logistics solution provider between China and emerging markets. By doing so, it will reduce end-to-end logistics costs between China and emerging markets while providing a stable and recognized logistics services to our customers. Job Title: Distribution Centre Supervisor

Location: Ojodu, Berger - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description 

• Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of DC-LOS staff to achieve operational excellence.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and provide updates.
• Oversee receiving and shipping processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy of shipment dispatch to minimize errors, missort and misrouting.
• Collaborate with other departments, including warehouse, LTL, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination.
• Analyze data and inbound shipments to implement process improvements to optimize workflow.
• Other duties as operational requirements demand.

Education Requirements

• HND / B.Sc. Social Sciences, Logistics Management

Competency and Skills Requirements:

• Proven working experience as a logistics hub supervisor
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
• Proficient in standard logistics software
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
