Overview

• As a Project Supervisor at a prestigious Event Decoration Company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning and execution of event decoration projects. This position requires a dynamic and detail-oriented individual who can lead a team, manage resources efficiently, and deliver high-quality results within established timelines. The Project Supervisor will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to bring creative visions to life and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team to understand each client’s event requirements and preferences.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines/scheduling, logistics, and communication, for all relevant stakeholders to ensure event success.
• Supervise each set-up and ensure that responsibilities are effectively delegated according to the individual strengths to ensure set-up success.
• Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Manage and allocate resources efficiently, including materials, equipment, and manpower.
• Monitor project progress to ensure the quality of decorations meets company standards and client expectations.
• Effectively address and resolve any issues or concerns related to the quality of work.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and address any client queries or concerns promptly.
• Anticipate and proactively address potential challenges or risks during project execution.
• Evaluate each project performance, taking note of areas of improvement for subsequent projects.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate unforeseen issues.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree or HND holder at the minimum.
• A minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in event decoration or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative mindset with an eye for design and detail.
• Proficient in project management tools and software.
