Job Overview

• We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Agricultural Staff member specializing in animal breeding and crops to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both animal husbandry and crop management, with expertise in breeding techniques, crop rotation, and soil management.
• This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and make meaningful contributions to our agricultural operations.

Responsibilities 

• Manage animal breeding programs, including selection, mating, and genetic improvement
• Monitor animal health and welfare, implementing appropriate care and management practices
• Oversee crop planning, planting, and harvesting activities
• Implement sustainable farming practices to optimize crop yields and minimize environmental impact
• Conduct soil analysis and implement soil fertility management strategies
• Collaborate with agricultural scientists and researchers on experimental projects
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to animal and crop activities
• Provide guidance and training to farm staff on best practices in animal breeding and crop management

Job Qualifications & Requirements

• First Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Agronomy, or related field
• Years of experience in agricultural operations, with a focus on animal breeding and crop management
• Proficiency in breeding techniques, including artificial insemination and genetic selection
• Knowledge of crop rotation, pest management, and soil conservation practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel for work purposes
