Job Title: Truck Driver

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

• We need a Truck Driver totransport goods or materials from one location to another.
• They may also be responsible for loading and unloading the truck, keeping logs of their hours and miles driven, and ensuring that the truck is well maintained.
• Truck drivers may also be required to follow specific safety protocols, and they may be required to have a commercial driver's license (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading cargo
• Inspecting the truck and cargo before and after each trip
• Driving the truck safely and obeying all traffic laws
• Keeping detailed records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other data
• Communicating with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers
• Following all safety protocols
• Maintaining the truck and ensuring it is in good working order
• Keeping up with required maintenance and repairs
• Inspecting the truck for damage and reporting any issues to the appropriate people
• Completing paperwork and logging information accurately.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.
