We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Facilities & Logistics

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description 

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the effective management of facilities and logistics operations to support organizational objectives and growth initiatives.
  • Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance, upkeep, and safety of all facilities, including buildings, equipment, and grounds, to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with regulations.
  • Logistics Coordination: Manage all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, distribution, inventory management, and warehouse operations, to ensure efficient supply chain processes and timely delivery of goods.
  • Cost Control: Develop and monitor budgets for both facilities and logistics operations, identify cost-saving opportunities, and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to optimize resources and minimize expenses.
  • Space Optimization: Coordinate space planning and utilization efforts to maximize the efficiency of facilities and warehouse storage, including layout design, inventory management, and workspace organization. Support the changing needs of the organization, including office layouts, furniture arrangements, and expansion projects.
  • Compliance and Safety: Establish and enforce policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and occupational health and safety regulations in both facilities and logistics operations.
  • Technology Integration: Identify and implement technology solutions to streamline facility and logistics management processes, such as asset tracking systems, inventory management software, and transportation management systems.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with facility maintenance contractors, logistics service providers, suppliers, and third-party vendors to ensure quality service delivery, adherence to contracts, and cost-effective solutions.

Qualification / Requirements

  • A Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, or any related field is extremely essential.
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in facilities management in an FMCG company or similar industry
  • Willing to travel to all Slot locations Nationwide at short notice
  • Must be accurate and efficient, high energy, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities
  • Candidate must prioritize integrity
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office package
  • Problem-solving, Planning, Time Management, and Organization Skills are highly required.
