We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Backend Engineer

Location: Lagos

Who We're Looking For

• MAKA is hiring an entrepreneurial and experienced Backend Engineer to join our team and work towards making our vision a reality.

What you'll do

• You will write the core code that drives our product experiences: from API integrations to recommendations, and a whole lot more. Your work will balance deploying quickly with accuracy & scalability
• You will troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure a seamless end-user experience
• You will integrate technical and design requirements to produce a world-class product
• You will create reusable code and libraries for future use
• You will contribute to a healthy engineering team culture

Your Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a backend developer, with at least 3 years of experience with JavaScript: Node.js, NestJS
• Experience working with AWS, Docker, TypeORM
• Experience with micro services architecture and securely integrating 3rd party APIs.
