Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Job Description
- Our client is in need of a quantity surveyor tasked with analyzing existing budgets and making improvements, reviewing plans and preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with various contractors and vendors, as well as building relationships with clients and site managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and working construction bills.
- Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates and reports.
- Assist in the tendering process by preparing bills of quantities and other tender documentation.
- Evaluate and analyze tender submissions from contractors and subcontractors.
- Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors.
- Administer construction contracts.
- Prepare regular cost reports, analyses, contracts, budgets and risk assessment on projects for management.
- Advise managers and clients on new strategies and improvements.
- Assist in resolving any disputes related to costs or contractual issues that may arise during the project.
Key Requirements
- B.Sc / HND in Quantity Surveying
- 5 years experience to include construction estimating or finance experience
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Projects
- Must possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
