Position Overview

  • The Medical Consultant will provide expert medical advice, guidance, and support to our organization, clients, and partners. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of medical practices, regulations, and trends, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Internal Medicine/Cardiology, Orthopaedic, Intensive Care/Trauma, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Anaesthesia, Paediatrics, ENT, Haematology/Blood Transfusion, Chemical Pathology, Histopathology, Medical Microbiology, Dental/Maxillofacial Surgery, Gastroenterology, Neonatal, Pain Management, Nephrology, Neurosurgery, Rheumatology, Urology, Pulmonology, Dental, Endoscopy

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert medical advice and guidance to internal teams, clients, and partners.
  • Review and analyze medical data, reports, and documentation to provide accurate assessments and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, researchers, and stakeholders to develop and implement medical strategies and solutions.
  • Stay informed about medical advancements, trends, and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Conduct medical research and analysis to support decision-making processes and improve patient outcomes.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of medical training programs for staff and clients.
  • Participate in medical conferences, seminars, and workshops to stay updated on industry developments and network with peers.

Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Medicine (MBBS) Degree from an accredited institution
  • Fellowship in a relevant subspecialty from either the National Postgraduate Medical College (NPMC) or the West African College of Surgeons (WACS)
  • Foreign-trained specialists must be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
  • A valid practicing license.
  • NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter for Nigerian citizens
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex medical data and information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex medical concepts to non-medical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
