Job Description

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at Nando Homes Limited.
  • As an integral part of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain financial transactions accurately in the general ledger.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable on a regular basis.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring, providing insights and recommendations as needed.
  • Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support for decision-making.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
