Job Description

• Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agro Mechanic for their team! You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of agricultural machinery and equipment, ensuring peak performance and efficiency across our operations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of agricultural machinery and equipment, including tractors, combines, harvesters, irrigation systems, and other specialized equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issues before they become problems.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure all equipment complies with safety regulations.
• Order and manage spare parts and supplies to maintain inventory levels.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance activities,and parts used.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues encountered by operators in the field.
• May be required to fabricate or modify parts as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other mechanics,farmers,and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and advancements in agricultural equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an agricultural mechanic or related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of agricultural machinery and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and procedures.
• A willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with new technologies.
