Job Title: Depot Storekeeper / Account Officer

Locations: Abuja (FCT), Aba - Abia, Delta, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom

Summary

• The Depot Storekeeper will primarily be responsible for handling the DN (Delivery Note) cum Invoice making process for products leaving the store, which is controlled by a different agency.
• The main duties include generating invoices for products using Tally software, managing documentation, and coordinating local transport arrangements for dispatching items.

Responsibilities

• Generate Delivery Notes (DN) and Invoices accurately and efficiently using Tally software.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is prepared and issued along with the supply of stocks.
• Coordinate with the relevant departments to facilitate the smooth flow of goods and services.
• Make local transport arrangements for dispatching items, ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain proper records of all transactions and documentation.
• Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies or shortages to the appropriate authorities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding inventory management and documentation.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
• Adhere to safety and security protocols to protect company assets.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliations.

Requirements

• HND/Degree in Accounting or related field from any university/polytechnic.
• Knowledge of invoicing and documentation
• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in warehouse or factory as a storekeeper.
• Knowledge of Tally software or any ERP operating system is an added advantage.
