Position Overview

  • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and budgeting.
  • The Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while providing support to various departments within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, general ledger accounts, and financial statements.
  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and financial reports are produced in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, and forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data, provide analysis, and support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and support as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to streamline accounting operations.
  • Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and enhance financial reporting practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
