Job Description

  • As the Product Support Manager - Africa, you will play an integral role in achieving laid down product strategies, maintain and improve sales on the marketplace with the sales team and improve customer satisfaction, and ensure long-lasting relationships with all customers (internal and external).
  • The successful candidate should have background from either of the following: E-Banking, E-Commerce background, Cluster Sales, or Regional Sales from FMCG, Fintech Sales and Strategic partnership. The successful candidate report to Head of Product – Africa.

Main Responsibilities
Work with Retail Growth Team to:

  • Increase APP downloads and Adoption in Alliance with the Sales Agents
  • Drive onboarding of distributors to RedPay (registration and trading)
  • Increase merchant adoption of Digital Payments and Achieve 80% active ratio.
  • Increase adoption of digital products MOM by AVG 10% i.e airtime top up, bill payment, lending, and VAS.
  • Monitor Product adoption, Usage, and failure rates.
  • Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly product performance review
  • Market Insight feedback.
  • Escalation and follow up on resolution of disputes raised.
  • Work with Active/Dormant User report to drive re-activation and usage to reduce churn rate.
  • Support Head of Product and Brands team on Live Demo presentations (Hybrid meetings)
  • Work with Head of Product to schedule recurrent Product trainings for Account Managers/Distributor Partners/Sales Agent relationships.

Experience we think you'll need

  • Strong understanding of digital solutions across Payments, Ordering, Marketing solutions and B2B marketplaces
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence all levels, including executive and C-level.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Deep digital understanding
  • Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
