Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pulpit Operator to join our dynamic team in the steel industry. The Pulpit Operator will be responsible for operating and controlling machinery from a central control station (pulpit) to ensure the efficient and safe production of steel products.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of steel manufacturing processes, excellent communication skills, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Knowledge in setting up and operate or tend machines, such as furnaces, baths, flame - hardening machines, and electronic induction machines, that harden, anneal, and heat - treat metal.
• Setbup and operate cold shear machines
• Operate CNC machine.
• Adherance to specified temperatures preparatory to forging, rolling or processing , using oil, gas or electrical furnaces.
• Overview checking in on equipment's and making sure it's properly working.
• To ensure sufficient availability of machinery, consumables and tools required for smooth running of the funaces

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an OND, HND, B.Sc Degree with 5-10 years experience.
