We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Communications, PR & Event Manager (Volunteer)

Location: Gbagada, Lagos (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Communication/PR Expert Volunteer to join our team.
  • The primary focus of this role is to enhance THRIVEon's visibility, engage stakeholders, and support our initiatives aimed at empowering entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute communication strategies to increase THRIVEon's visibility and reach.
  • Manage social media platforms, create engaging content, and coordinate social media campaigns.
  • Implement digital marketing initiatives to promote THRIVEon's events, initiatives, and opportunities.
  • Represent THRIVEon at events, meetings, and conferences to engage with potential stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop PR materials, including press releases, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Support the recruitment of volunteers and partners to ensure continuity and growth of THRIVEon's initiatives.
  • Assist in organizing and executing events, workshops, and masterclasses for budding entrepreneurs.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 2 - 5 years relevant work experience.
  • Strong background in communication, public relations, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in social media management, digital marketing, and content creation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and network with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Passion for entrepreneurship, community development, and social impact.
