Job Description
The Practice Manager will take responsibility for the smooth and seamless running of all the support functions of the firm, Some of the functions required to be carried out by the incumbent of the role include but is not limited to the following:
  • Maintaining supplies by checking inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies; placing, expediting and receiving orders.
  • Keeping equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; maintaining inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Maintaining client records by following legal retention requirements; determining storage and retrieval requirements.
  • Manage the HR function of the firm.
  • Identify personnel/staff needs including training, orient new hires to other employees, firm systems, benefits, and policies.
  • Make recommendations to the firm Partner in Charge regarding programs and procedures that will improve the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the firm.
Requirements
  • The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma and at least three (3) years practical work experience preferably in a professional services firm.
  • Candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment, have superb customer service and communication skills, have supervisory skills, and the ability to work extra hours as needed.
