Job Title: Pharmaceutical Area Sales Manager

Job Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pharmaceutical Area Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets within their designated geographical area.
  • They will also be involved in developing and implementing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive business growth within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market expansion and product launches.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and hospital administrators.
  • Provide regular performance feedback and coaching to sales team members to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical affairs, and finance, to achieve business goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science related course.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role in Abuja and Plateau.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Very good knowledge of institutions, hospitals and distributors.
  • Experience selling OTC/ ETHICAL DRUGS.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
