Job Description

• We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist who can handle a variety of accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle various accounting duties such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Collaborate effectively with the Accounts Payable (AP) team to ensure first-time-right transaction processing.
• Ensure financial accuracy and compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Participate in financial audits and work with auditors to ensure compliance.
• Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Support A & C on administrative tasks: retrieval of documents for weekly payments and various audit purposes; raising of PR for corporate units; GRIR and web-cycle resolutions; review and reconciliation of business advance GLs; Co-ordination of quarterly GL reconciliations; reclass of bulk postings on HR and SCM to appropriate cost centres; reconciliation of AMEX card transactions and any other tasks assigned by HOAC.

What You Bring 

• A Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting or a related field.
• Strong team spirit and excellent collaboration skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of applicable accounting regulations and standards.
• ICAN ATS or Advance stage of ICAN examination in addition to first degree.
