Job Title: Human Resource Intern

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Duration: 6 months

Position Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our dynamic HR team. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in various HR functions and contribute to the overall success of our HR department.
  • This internship provides an excellent opportunity to learn about HR processes, employee relations, talent acquisition, and other aspects of human resources in a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Participate in the initial screening of candidates and maintain the applicant tracking system.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruitment process.

Employee Relations:

  • Support the HR team in handling employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive work environment.

Onboarding:

  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Prepare new hire orientation materials and schedules.
  • Help in the completion of necessary paperwork for new employees.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
  • Assist with various HR-related administrative tasks.

Learning and Development:

  • Support the coordination of training and development programs.
  • Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and training sessions.

Compliance:

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to HR audits and documentation as needed.

Special Projects:

  • Participate in special HR projects as assigned.
  • Provide research and analysis on HR-related topics.

Qualifications

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Must have 0-2 years experience
  • Currently enrolled with CIPM or related
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
