Job Title: Manager, IT Applications
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Purpose of the Job
- Primary responsibility is the building and leadership of the internal system analysts/development (web and mobile development) teams while establishing a network of competent external partners.
Educational Qualifications & Functional Skills
- Minimum 2.1/Upper Credit Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems or any related field or a combination of related experience and education
Work Experience:
- Hands-on experience using Perl, Python, node.js, Golang or PHP
- Hands-on experience with GNU/Linux, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Apache Web Server/ngnix
- Previous experience with Telco OSS/BSS platforms including RADIUS, billing and provisioning
- Strong system analysis and system integration skills
- Strong team leadership and coordination abilities
- Strong knowledge of software development process, quality control and impact assessment
- Experience with distributed version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of mobile application development platforms, both native and hybrid
- Strong experience building and sustaining an outsourced software development partner network within Nigeria and abroad
