Job Description

• Our client seeks a meticulous and qualified Accountant to oversee all financial transactions, ensuring precision in accounting and adherence to legal standards.

Scope

• Audit financial documents and procedures, reconcile bank statements and calculate tax payments and returns
• Provide accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity and cash flows of the business, while ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
• Manage all accounting transactions and ensure timely bank payments
• Prepare budget forecasts and publish financial statements in time
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Manage income and expenditure accounts
• Calculate employee paychecks for each pay period and prepare tax obligations.

Key Requirements

• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
• Proven work experience as an Accountant
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
• Previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.
• Hands-on experience with relevant accounting softwares including advanced MS Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Additional certification is a plus
