Job Title: IT Developer

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Description

• We are looking for an IT Developer who is proficient in Linux administration, Docker systems, and Kubernetes. The candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing our containerization technology strategies, providing Technical Support, working on a biometric application, and designing our architecture. They will work on supporting, scaling, and monitoring various highly complex applications of ours, and making our container orchestration cluster highly available.

Responsibilities

• Providing support on a Fingerprint and Facial Biometric Solution.
• Build and maintain highly available systems on Kubernetes.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement an auto-scaling system for our Kubernetes nodes.
• Participate in on-call rotations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Operations or systems administration experience, particularly on Linux.
• At least one to two years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud deployment technologies.
• Experience with container networking on Docker.
• Experience with application deployment by using CI/CD.
• Proficient with Docker containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of Linux/UNIX administration.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
