Biomedical Limited, one of the leading pharmaceutical manufacturing companies based in Ilorin, Kwara state, seeks applications from suitable, qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Factory Manager / Superintendent Pharmacist

Location: Ilorin, Kwara

The Role

• Responsible for day-to-day running of the factory in all aspects and revising and assuring targets are met.
• Ensures implementation of company quality management system to effect current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
• Ensures optimum capacity utilization in the plant.
• Manufacturing and material usage
• Authorizes products manufacture.
• Ensures that on job training and development of personnel is conducted as planned
• Responsible for registering the company premises and carries out regulation as contained in the chapter 152 of the Pharmacy Law and ensures annual license for Pharmacists are in current status
• Ensure good communication with all departments to enhance productivity.
• Regularly liaise with Health Authorities and advises Management accordingly
• Responsible for Registration of all company’s products with Regulatory Authorities.
• Liaise with bodies such as the Pharmaceutical Group of the Manufacturers, Association of Nigeria (PMGMAN), National Agency for Food Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC), The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), and Federal and State Ministries of Health.
• Attend to product registration, product licenses & relevant regulatory Matters.
• Carry out other function(s) within or outside the factory as may be   assigned by management.
• Report directly to the Executive Director

Requirements

• The candidate must be 40 years and above
• Must possess B.Pharm  with valid PCN Practicing license.
• Must have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical production line
• Adequate knowledge of all the products line formulations and production including syrup, Infusions, tableting and other pharmaceutical products.
• Adequate Knowledge of products dozier preparations.
