Job Title: Retail Business Lead - Development

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Purpose of Role

• Driving and scaling up the retail division through revenue generation, customer count increase, promotions, partnerships, and optimizing business development strategies.

Responsibilities

• Excellence in retail business development by building and driving offline & online business opportunities
• Developing a retail channel mapping plan to generate qualified leads
• Ensuring revenue targets per store are aligned with the store potential and achieved
• Establishing partnerships with key organizations by identifying growth opportunities for the retail division
• Increasing the number of retail engagement portfolio with various schools to be in contract with our retail stores
• Building and optimizing the customer retention strategy while driving new customer acquisition strategies
• Developing and ensuring proper execution of all internal and external retail campaign activities
• Providing input and support to the marketing team for effective marketing communications for the brand
• Tracking the performance of the retail business by data analysis and intelligent reporting to management
• Excellent market intelligence reporting including macroeconomics, competition analysis and customer surveys
• Providing strategic oversight and monitoring performance for the retail business development executives

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Sc or M.Sc in related field (MBA is an added advantage)
• At least 5-7 years of related experience in retail management or business development in a leadership capacity
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

The ideal candidate must be:

• Able to lead a geographically dispersed team of multichannel retail chain
• A self-starter and proactively demonstrate expertise in functional retail solutions and processes.
• Able to demonstrate a successful track record of achieving revenue growth and deploying retail development activities to drive footfall in previous positions.
