Shaq's Place, a restaurant in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Loss Prevention Accountant

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work days: Mon – Fri (9am – 5pm) Should live within Lekki or the Island for proximity.

Role Purpose

• Visibility into the financial status of the organization
• Processes are followed as documented.

Job Responsibilities

• Setup the financial reporting structure
• Budgeting
• Develop daily/weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Develop monthly/quarterly/annual management accounts
• Weekly/monthly/Ad hoc inventory review and reporting (via cycle counting, spot checks, etc.)
• Lead periodic pricing (cost and selling) exercises especially for menu items.
• Weekly/Monthly/Ad hoc process audits
• Process control-point review for effectiveness.
• Advising on cost optimization initiatives
• Matching purchased items with purchase orders
• Recommending control improvement opportunities to the CEO
• Tax advisory.
• Contribute to projects requiring financial input (e.g. website development, fund raising, business planning, etc.)
• Performs other tasks assigned by the Manager/CEO.

Requirements

• BSc / HND in any Accounting
• Minimum of 3 years relative experience.

Salary
N150,000 / month.
