Job Title: Compliance Specialist

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Implement regulatory fintech processes and procedures.
• Ensuring all corporate processes and procedures comply with the law.
• Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations relevant to the industry.
• Conduct regular audits in all required areas to ascertain compliance levels.
• Develop and implement compliance improvement plans where required.
• Make reports, where necessary, to the governing body.
• Assist Regulatory Authorities with completing site visits and external audits.
• Prepare for, and conduct audits alongside external authorities.

Job Specification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field. Advanced Degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is a plus.
• 5 - 7 years proven experience in setting up compliant Fintech processes and procedures.
• Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
