Purple Pulp - Our Client, an online beauty retailer that provides one-stop shopping destination for mass and prestige beauty products, is seeking the services of a highly competent Marketing/Customer Service Representative to join the growing team as:

Role Description

The ideal candidate must be ready to; provide customer service support to the organization by obtaining, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner; create marketing plan with the goal of increasing product awareness and increasing sales and profits; initiate and/or implement corrective action as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.

Job Responsibilities
  • Receives, processes and verifies the accuracy of orders from customers utilizing the organization’s internal CRM/mainframe systems and customer purchase orders.
  • Initiates required action for response to customer service requests for order changes, including the maintenance of order/customer information files and communicates changes to the appropriate personnel/departments.
  • Resolves product or service issues by clarifying the customer's complaint; selecting the best solution; expediting correction or adjustment; and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of standards, policies and procedures regarding customer service.
  • Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
  • Facilitates the collection of competitor information in order to monitor business trends and opportunities.
  • Keeps weekly records of Suppliers and Monitor Inventory Level.
  • Provides information to customers in response to inquiries about products and services.
  • Conducts follow up phone calls to survey respondents who have concerns or questions.
  • Advises internal staff of advertisements and campaigns that affect customer retention.
  • Maintains detailed call activity reports and provides weekly activity/statistical summary reports to the management.
  • Co-ordinates the organization's involvement in internal and external trade shows.
  • Creates Marketing Posts on all social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Blog)
Requirements/Qualifications
  • Minimum of OND Certificate.
  • Preferably Female (between 23-28 years).
  • At least 2 years progressive customer service or direct marketing experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, networking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Generally IT savvy- expertise in the use of Social Media; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must live around Lekki-Ajah area of Lagos.
