Media & Marketing Officer (Remote) at Tamak Logistics

Tamak Logistics is an indigenous private logistics firm with a primary role of running same day deliveries within Lagos and on other times inter-state. We are fast transitioning to a digitally inclined business with a network of riders.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Media & Marketing Officer

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Digital Marketing:

• Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, including email campaigns, social media advertising.
• Create and manage engaging content & designs for various online platforms to enhance our online presence.
• Create a content calendar to share periodic updates and plans for social media activities.

Brand Promotion:

• Manage and promote the company's brand image through marketing materials, advertisements, and other creative content.
• Identify opportunities for partnerships and collaborations to increase brand exposure.

Market Research:

• Conduct market research to identify industry trends and customer preferences.
• Utilize market insights to refinetarget audiences effectively.

Public Relations:

• Build relationships with industry influencers, press, and media outlets to secure favorable coverage and media partnerships.
• Prepare and distribute press releases and media communications.
• Contribute to the overall sales growth.

Qualifications & Skills

• Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc Degrees in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) with 0 - 3 years relevant wok experience.
• Creative mindset & good use of basic graphic design( canva,in shot, cap cut),
• Ability to use Google work suite and good understanding of Meta insights and social mediaalgorithim.
• Proven experience in social media use, digital marketing, and sales roles, with a track record of achieving goals.
• Great verbal & written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, pays attention to details and results-driven.
• Knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry is a plus.
