An indigenous Gas Processing company is recruiting qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position below:

Job Title: Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Management Engineer

Location: Nigeria
Department: Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE)
Reports To: Head of QHSE
Direct Reports: Q&M Contractor QHSE Team

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of Company's Business Management System (BMS).
  • Support the planning of 3 Party 150 9001:2015, 150 14001:2015 & 150 45001:2018 Surveilance Audit to maintain Company's Integrated Manage ment System Certification
  • Develop and implement Companywide QHSE System Internal Audit, Re views. Surveillances and Walkthrough schedules. Report nonconformances and opportunities for improvement. Follow-up the implementation of cor- rections and corrective actions and close out all findings
  • Monitor the implementation of Gas Processing Plant Asset Integrity and Process Safety Plan
  • Execute daily, OHSE inspections at Company Assets. Ensure that hazards and risks are identified with mitigations and corrective measures implemented.
  • Monitor and control implementation of all procedures related to the main tenance and effectiveness of safety of people, environment, and assets •Provide support to the Internal Audit & Risk Management Team on all HSE legal compliance
  • Investigate all incidents and accidents involving people, environment, and assots. Analyze causes, determine corrective actions
  • Prepare and maintain statistical records of leading and lagging indicators and prepare required periodic reports highlighting mitigations and comedie actions
  • Ensure that Company processes, programs and procedures are communi cated and understood by all personnel through training and awareness séj sions
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Head QHSE

Minimum Qualifications

  • First Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • 5-8 years' experience working in this role or a similar role
  • Member of the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (SPON)
  • 150 9001, 14001 & 45001 certified Internal Auditor with Internationa Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) United Kingdom or equivalent.
  • Certed Quality Engineer with the American Society of Quality (ASC) or equivalent
  • Level II Non-Destructive Testing Certification (ASMT or equivalent) in Radiographic Interpretation, Magnetic Particle Testing, Dye Penetrant Testing and Ultrasonic Testing
  • Other professional qualification in Health Safety & Environment Man agement, Health sciences, Safety Management
  • Any other relevant professional qualifications.

Skills and Competency Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of the local and international oil & gas and energy industry requirements
  • Good understanding of Engineering, Procurement and Construction processes, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent understanding of Project Management processes, tools, and techiniques
  • Excellent understanding of Project Management processes, tools, and tech niques.
  • Good knowledge of standard occupational health, safety and environmental laws and regulations.
  • Good understanding of risk and hazard management processes.
  • Excellent relationship building and networking skills.
  • Excellent negotiating skils and power of comiction.
