Description
- Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Refinery Operator to join our team at our chemical facility located in Ashipa Village, Ogun State.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor refinery equipment to ensure efficient and safe production processes.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks on equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Monitor process parameters and make adjustments as necessary to meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of production activities and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering or Technical Certification or vocational training preferred.
- Proven experience as a refinery operator or similar role in a chemical processing facility.
- Strong understanding of refinery processes and equipment operation.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
