Job Description

• The Account Officer would be responsible for managing and ensuring the timely reconciliation of all banks ensuring all bank charges relating to POS and other bank charges are correctly calculated and posted daily.

Duties

• Reconcile daily Point of Sale (POS) transactions within the showroom to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze and verify sales data, ensuring alignment with financial records and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with the sales team to obtain necessary information and documentation related to POS transactions.
• Monitor and report on any irregularities or inconsistencies in POS data, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain organized records of all POS transactions and supporting documents for audit purposes.
• Generate detailed reports summarizing daily, weekly, and monthly POS reconciliation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on POS transactions reconciliation.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
