Job Description

  • As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff and ensuring that the cleanliness and maintenance standards of the property are met.
  • Your role will involve supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train housekeeping staff. Create work schedules and ensure that staff adhere to company policies and procedures. Monitor staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order supplies as needed.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met. Address any maintenance issues promptly and ensure they are resolved.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Respond to guest requests and concerns in a professional and timely manner. Work with the team to ensure that guest rooms are prepared according to company standards.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff on housekeeping procedures and standards. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for existing staff.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Implement and maintain safety procedures and practices. Monitor and report any health and safety hazards.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Candidates should possess an OND, HND, or B.Sc Degree with at least 2 years experience.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and cleaning techniques.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and related software.

Salary
N60,000 / Month.
