We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pharmaceutical and Logistics Associate

Location: KP One Stop Shop (OSS) Barnawa, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • The incumbent will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care services and implementing an efficient health commodity logistics system in alignment with donor requirements and Federal Government guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the store's department in implementing SOPs for the warehouse in line with Good Storage Practices.
  • Support an efficient ordering and distribution system through the review of existing procedures.
  • Conduct regular stock-taking exercises, reporting discrepancies, and ensuring follow-up actions.
  • Manage pharmaceutical care aspects of the HIV care and treatment program.
  • Implement work plans and activities following the Government of Nigeria’s guidelines at the KPOSS and other logistics spokes supported by the organization.
  • Track, monitor, and analyze inventory of all pharmacy stock using monitoring tools, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Provide periodic support to pharmacy, medical, nursing, and counseling staff at supported sites.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports from the supported sites implementing the HIV care and treatment program.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or a relevant field with prior experience in pharmaceutical services delivery and supply chain management.
  • At least 2 years experience in related programming in developing countries.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical service delivery, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management.
  • Proficiency in the use of electronic Logistic Management Information Systems e.g., NAVISION.
  • Proficiency in MS Access, SPSS, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and other Office packages.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop written reports for decision-making.
  • Knowledge of the local language will be an asset.
