Job Title: Company Accountant / Bookkeeper

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties / Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Managing day-to-day financial transactions and bookkeeping activities.
• Recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for Source Select, Inc.
• Handling accounts payable and receivable functions specific to the logistics and fulfillment industry.
• Reconciling bank statements and other financial documents related to our operations.
• Preparing and analyzing financial reports and statements tailored to the logistics sector.
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts with a focus on logistics and supply chain metrics.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data for our logistics and fulfillment services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1+ years relevant work experience.
• Proven experience as a Company Accountant or Bookkeeper within the logistics and supply chain industry.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices specific to logistics operations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with knowledge of systems used in the logistics sector.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially in handling logistics-related financial data.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with an understanding of logistics operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
• Familiarity with logistics and supply chain-specific accounting software.

Salary
N200,000 - N400,000 Monthly.
