Currently, it has full ownership of three famous mobile phone brands TECNO, itel and Infinix, and an after-sales service brand Carlcare.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Government Relations Officer

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with government officials, agencies, and regulatory bodies at local, state, and federal levels. Monitor government policies, regulations, and legislation that may impact the organization's operations and strategic objectives.
  • Represent the organization in meetings, hearings, and discussions with government officials.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop government relations strategies and advocacy campaigns and to empower the mobile internet products.
  • Prepare and submit reports, briefings, and communications on government relations activities and developments to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues in government relations and public policy.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, or a related field.
  • Strong background of the Nigerian XXX ministry (from public sector is a plus), in-depth knowledge of government structures, legislative processes, and regulatory frameworks at the local, state, and federal levels.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with government officials and stakeholders.
  • Proven experiences in government alcohol laboration procedures and updated regulations in terms of compliance. A strong network of governmental sectors is required.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Fluent Ora & written English.
