• Job Description
• As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen by assisting the chefs with various tasks.
• Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a hygienic and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and menu specifications, standards of quality, freshness, and flavor.
• Stay up-to-date with current food trends and incorporate customer feedback into menu planning.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes and kitchen equipment and disposing of waste properly.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff, to ensure that meals are prepared efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Taste food to ensure that it meets quality standards and adjust seasoning as necessary.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of ingredients and supplies.
• Promptly communicate supplies that are to be restocked.
• Assist in prepping ingredients by slicing, cutting, and shredding.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
• Follow and achieve the company’s goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Comply with all procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an FSLC / NCE qualification with 2-3 years experience.

Salary
N50,000 / Month.
