Job Title: Civil Engineer

About the Role

• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team and contribute to the planning, design, and construction of various infrastructure projects.
• You will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, from conducting site investigations and analyzing data to creating blueprints and overseeing construction phases.
• This role offers an opportunity to be involved in projects that shape the built environment and contribute to the well-being of communities.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Design: Participate in the planning and design of infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, dams, water treatment facilities, and other structures. This may involve conducting feasibility studies, analyzing site data, and creating detailed construction plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Site Investigations & Analysis: Conduct site investigations to understand soil conditions, topography, and other factors that influence project design and construction. Analyze data collected from surveys, tests, and maps to inform design decisions.
• Construction Oversight & Inspection: Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure projects comply with plans, specifications, and safety regulations. Collaborate with contractors and other engineers to address any challenges or modifications that arise during construction.
• Technical Expertise & Calculations: Apply engineering knowledge and principles to perform complex calculations and analyze structural stability, load capacities, and other technical aspects of projects.
• Communication & Collaboration: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to all applicable building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field, such as structural engineering, transportation engineering, or water resources engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 / month.
