Job Title: Logistics Supervisor - Supply Base & Fuel Operations
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Responsibilities
- Pursue the goals of no harm to people, no leaks and no ethical breaches “Goal Zero’’ and proactively promote the Life Saving Rules, Human Performance and CARE.
- Participate in Customer engagement meetings in order to achieve top quartile Supply base service delivery in support of Production Land and Marine fuel Operations.
- Ensure timely deployment of resources (AGO, PMS) in support of production, land and marine Including shutdown activities in line with approved plans.
- Daily monitoring of consumption data and calculation of endurance levels across SCiN via the powerBi tool.
- Expediting of FMS requests execution status and follow ups with various Logistics Service Providers to ensure safe and on-time delivery of fuels
- Ensures that only valid vessel movements are utilized for deliveries. Reviews and confirms vessels Naval clearances, GMAS and premob status.
- Manage HSE aspects in fueling operations contracts to ensure compliance Manage fuel stocking operations and assure integrity of asset in the facilities
- Maintain accurate data on AGO/PMS utilisation for strategic reviews
- Support the implementation of fuel Improvement Initiatives – fuel monitoring project activities across SCiN
Principal Accountabilities
- Reports to Supply base Manager and Fuel Management Lead
KPIs
- 100% compliance to approved Fuel management standards.
- 95% availability of Fuel management services
- Unsafe Act / Unsafe Condition reporting
- 100% Adherence to 9 IOGP Life Saving Rules
- Responsiveness to HSE shortcomings
Requirements
Academic Qualification:
- OND / HND / BSc in relevant discipline
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Fuel Management Operations and Supply base operations.
- Experience in Shell fuel management operations is a strong pre-requisite.
- Key Interfaces: Logistics, Wells, Security, Pipelines and Production assets
Key Skills:
- Data gathering and analysis.
- Maintain data base and conduct trend analysis
- Customer Management
- Understanding of Fuel Management Procedures and Processes
- Use of productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word)
Soft Skills:
- PTW competency as you would be required to request for permits and hold permits
- Certified Gas Tester
- Compliance with Ethics and Compliance requirements
- Has good relational abilities – requirements to ensure working cordial relationship with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment and work under pressure.
- Has excellent analytical skills and appreciates a technical challenge.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Effective managing and prioritizing multiple task.
- Demonstrate high level of resilience.
