Ritman University is the 58th Private University, approved by the Federal Government to begin academic activities on February 25 2015 and Licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) to begin operations as a Private University on March 5th 2015.

Qualification and Requirements
- A good Bachelor's Degree, in Journalism, Mass Communication, Communication Arts, Public Relations or related discipline(s) from a recognised institution with not less than 3 (Three) years post qualification experience in a reputable media establishment or institution.
- The possession of higher degree and computer literacy and ICT competence will be added advantages.
- The candidate must have good command of the English language - Oral and written and must be capable of initiating and successfully promoting a domestic publication for internal and external circulation.
- Must be a person with good personality and excellent human relations characteristics.
