Job Description
- We are currently seeking an experienced Automated Machine Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in automated machine maintenance, preferably in the glass processing industry or a related field. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of automated industrial machines, including cutting machines and furnaces.
Responsibilities
- Operate, repair,and maintain automated industrial machines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities on automated machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to understand machine requirements and address any operational challenges.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures to enhance machine reliability.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including parts replacements and repairs.
- Source and procure spare parts and equipment as needed for maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support to production staff to ensure safe and efficient machine operation.
- Stay informed about advancements in automated machine technology and recommend upgrades or improvements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automated machine maintenance, preferably in the glass processing industry or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years, preferably 5-6 years
- Industry Experience: Glass processing industry or related field
- Experience in operating and maintaining automated industrial machines, including cutting machines and furnaces.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate maintenance records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
