We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Sagamu, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Overview

  • Responsible for designing, installing, testing and maintaining production equipment and systems, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and ensuring safety and efficiency of the production staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effecting the routine check up on all equipment for preventive/breakdown maintenance
  • Overseeing maintenance and operation procedures for the complete manufacturing process and auxiliary services necessary for production.
  • Planning and organizing maintenance schedules.
  • Input of proper setting on control panels of production equipment.
  • Maintaining quality control standards for production
  • Preparation and indenting of material needed for production
  • Planning of monthly/annual preventive maintenance for all machinery and equipment
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety policies/procedures
  • Identify, document, and report unsafe practices.

Requirements

  • B.Sc or in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience work experience in an FMCG company, especially chemicals and paints
  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), quality control, and validation methods
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team with minimal supervision.
