We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cashier

Job Description

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services.Assist customers with any issues or concerns related to their transactions.
• Ring up purchases and ensure that prices and quantities are accurate.Accept payments in the form of cash, credit cards, or other accepted methods.
• Issue receipts and change to customers.
• Count and verify cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and handle any discrepancies appropriately.
• Process refunds or exchanges as needed.
• Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions.
• Scan and input product information into the system.
• Learn and stay updated on the features and functions of the POS system.
• Keep the cashier area clean and organized.Arrange and display promotional materials as required.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth flow of customer transactions.
• Communicate effectively with other staff members and management.

Requirements

• SSCE, OND or equivalent.
• Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Excellent math skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
