We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Tank Farm Operator

Location: Calabar, Cross River
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Tank farm equipment operation and maintenance
• Ensuring safe and efficient storage and handling of petroleum products
• Monitoring tank levels and product quality
• Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of tanks, pumps, and pipelines
• Keeping accurate records of inventory and product movement
• Responding to emergencies and implementing spill response procedures
• Complying with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Ability to operate and maintain tanks
• Proficient in monitoring and controlling tank levels and pressures
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to tank operations
• Strong analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues in tank operations
• Good communication skills to coordinate with other team members and external stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to changing schedules
• Physical fitness to operate valves and handle hoses and other equipment as required.
