Job Description

  • We are looking for a Sales Representative to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients.
  • In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a sales role is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Should have a good understanding of how to sell services and products to individuals, and private and government organizations.
  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads
  • Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Understanding and promoting company programs.
  • Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
  • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
  • Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate departments
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers
  • Meet and/or exceed targets
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 3 - 5 years of sales experience in building materials industry
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and vendors
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
