Bursar at Igbajo Polytechnic

Igbajo Polytechnic, Igbajo, Osun State, Nigeria is one of the well established private Polytechnics in Nigeria. It was established in year 2005 at a temporary site located at Kiriji Memorial College Igbajo. It has acquired a permanent site (50 hectares of land) along Igbajo Imesi-Ile road, at a distance of 1KM away from Igbajo.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bursar

Location: Igbajo, Osun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The Bursar shall be the Head of the Finance Department of the Polytechnic.
• The Bursar shall be responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day financial administration of the Polytechnic.
• The Bursar shall be responsible for preparing budget operations' plans, and short and long-term investment plan.
• The Bursar shall coordinate the development and update of the Polytechnic Financial Management Plans.
• The Bursar shall ensure accurate records are kept on all local and foreign assets and liabilities held by the Polytechnic.
• The Bursar shall manage the polytechnic investment portfolio.
• The Bursar shall monitor and ensure prompt and effective production of audited accounts of the Polytechnic.

Requirements

• The Bursar shall possess professionally recognised accountancy qualifications and ten (10) years' cognate experience plus a good First Degree with a minimum of second class lower division or Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least a lower credit in Accountancy or related field.
• In addition to the above qualifications, candidates are expected to demonstrate intellectual and excellent conduct in discipline, integrity and sound judgment.
