Job Title: Female Procurement Officer

Job Description

• We are looking to hire an experienced Procurement Officer to help us keep growing. If you're hard-working and dedicated, hospitality resources is an ideal place to get ahead.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify suppliers of goods and services
• Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.
• Attend vendor meetings
• Develop cost control plans
• Document policies and procedures
• Analyse invoices to ensure the accuracy of goods delivered
• Monitor inventory to ensure the flow of goods remains positive
• Track and schedule all materials, equipment, and personnel purchase orders
• Open new accounts as needed
• Ensuring compliance with Client and Company’s needs, Statutory Policies and Regulations.
• To promptly follow up with vendors and ensure business contacts are up-to-date and relationships properly managed.

Requirements

• Accounting background will be an added advantage
• Must have at least 3 years experience
• Good knowledge of preparing required procurement reports to the management.
• Demonstrated good computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite applications.Knowledge in the usage of ERP packages is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality.
• Additional certification in the field of procurement is desired.
• Strong knowledge of the industry and market conditions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and rapport building
• Flexible to work long hours as demanded by projects.
