Description
- At Dangote Cement Transport, we are seeking a highly skilled CNG Maintenance Manager to join our team.
- As a CNG Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair operations of our CNG equipment, optimizing efficiency, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and repair activities of CNG equipment.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies and procedures to maximize equipment performance and lifespan.
- Manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce good practices within the maintenance team.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and generate reports on equipment performance.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of spare parts and materials.
- Coach and mentor maintenance technicians to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in CNG maintenance technology.
Requirements
- HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 18 years of cognate experience with proven working knowledge of CNG vehicle maintenance and at least 8 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of CNG systems, engines, and vehicle components.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using troubleshooting and other relevant software.
