Description

• Inspect, repair, and maintain diesel generators and related equipment
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on diesel generators to ensure proper functioning
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in diesel generators
• Repair or replace faulty parts and components of diesel generators
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts
• Test and evaluate the performance of diesel generators
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to other mechanics when needed
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in diesel generator technology
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure efficient and reliable operation of diesel generators
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Trade certification as a diesel mechanic or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel generator mechanic
• Strong knowledge of diesel generator systems and components
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
